POSITION DETECTION IN WIRELESS NETWORK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for detecting a position by using an existing radio sensor network infrastructure.SOLUTION: Nodes are positioned in two or more locations within a wireless mesh network. For each location, positional information about the nodes is measured. A count calibration multiplier is exchanged between the node and the plurality of nodes positioned within the wireless mesh network, and a plurality of first distances from the plurality of nodes to the node for each position are measured by using a flight time measurement method and the count calibration multiplier. The plurality of first distances and the positional information about the node for each position are transmitted to a network manager. The network manager stores the plurality of first distances and the positional information for each location.
