PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a battery capable of preventing a first active material layer on the electrode foil side from being exposed to the surface of a negative electrode active material layer, having a first active material layer and a second active material layer of different negative electrode active material, while improving the conductivity between the first and second active material layers.SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing a lithium ion secondary battery 10 includes a step for forming a first active material layer 45z by applying a first paste 80 on an electrode foil 42 and then drying it, a step for forming a carbon compound layer 46x on the first active material layer 45z, a step for forming a second active material layer 47z by applying a second paste 86 on the carbon compound layer 46x and then drying it, and a step for subsequently carbonizing the carbon compound 85 of the carbon compound layer 46x. |
