PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide connection for improving corrosion resistance between an aluminum base cable and a copper base terminal.SOLUTION: A terminal 18 has a tubular attachment section 20 for receiving a cable 12, and a connection part section 22 formed so as to couple a terminal to a mating terminal. The attachment section demarcates a cavity 28 including an open first end part 30 for receiving the cable and a partially closed second end part 32 existing on the side opposite to the first end part. The cavity between the second end part and the end part 26 of the cable contains a sealant material bonded to the cable and the terminal. This sealant material surrounds a space in the cavity around the boundary part of the cable/terminal to practically fill it. The boundary part and cable are effectively protected from being exposed to surrounding electrolytes, and galvanic corrosion is thereby suppressed. |
