Disclosed are a device and a method to move a mobile robot between floors. According to the present invention, the method to move a mobile robot between floors comprises: a step of checking a current position of a robot using each floor map of a building where the robot is positioned; a step of generating floor movement information between the current position and a destination based on a coordinate of a starting point contained on each floor map; a step of moving the robot to a stair on a floor where the robot is currently positioned using a floor movement information, and then moving the robot to a floor where the destination is positioned; and a step of moving the robot to the destination by converting the coordinate of the starting point on the floor where the robot is currently positioned to a coordinate of a starting point on the floor where a destination is positioned. |
