PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain cleaning performance of a cleaning member for a long period.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes: an apparatus body; a moving member that moves with respect to the apparatus body while supporting an image carrier and a developer carrier; an exposure device that exposes the image carrier through a light transmission member to form a latent image; and a cleaning member that cleans a surface of the light transmission member arranged opposite to the moving member by the movement of the moving member. The cleaning member is provided on the moving member to move with respect to the moving member, and thereby taking a contact position in contact with the light transmission member when the moving member moves and a non-contact position not in contact with the light transmission member when the moving member moves. |
