The present invention relates to a tape measure having a length marking function, and in a normal tape measure (100) in which a metal tape measure (101) excluding a front end part (102) thereof is wound to be retractable and embedded in a casing (10), the tape measure is formed in a structure provided with: a guide part (13) integrally formed therein and having a slide groove (13a) formed at a predetermined gap from a bottom side part (12) perpendicular from a lateral side part (11) of the casing (10) and an insertion gap (13b) spaced from the lateral side part; a screw-coupling hole (13c) formed on the bottom side part (12) of the guide part (13) wherein a lock ball (14) is guided to the inside of the screw-coupling hole (13c) such that a part of the ball is protrudingly supported in a guide groove part (13) and a compression spring (15) for elastically supporting the lock ball (14) is guided; and a wrench bolt (16) provided for preventing the separation of the lock ball (14) and the compression spring (15), and tape measure includes a marking member (20) of which one side is guided from the slide groove (13a) and the insertion gap (13b) of the guide part (13) such that the marking member marks the length on a target object through gradations of the metal tape measure (101) withdrawn from the casing (10). The marking member is withdrawn in the direction in which the metal tape measure is withdrawn from the side part of the casing, and a writing implement is provided thereto to accurately coincide with the corresponding gradation of the withdrawn metal tape measure so as to mark the position for the length of the target object. In addition, when the marking member is not used, the tape measure is used while the marking member is disposed to the side part of the casing again, and thus provided are the effects of enabling the tape measure to be useful on-site since the withdrawing of the tape measure and the marking of the lengths can be performed with one hand, and enabling the use thereof in the form of a conventional tape measure by completely separating the marking member from the tape measure as necessary. |
