Provided is an intake air cooling device wherein a heat exchange core portion (151, 152) of an intercooler (15) includes an intake air downstream side core portion (151)and an intake air upstream side core portion (152) located on an upstream side in an intake air flow relative to the intake air downstream side core portion (151). The intake air downstream side core portion (151) is located on an upstream side of a cooling fluid with respect to the intake air upstream side core portion (152). The intercooler (15) has an inversion portion (15a) at which a cooling fluid flowing direction is inverted between the intake air downstream side core portion (151) and the intake air upstream side core portion (152). A flow rate control device (30, 41) intermittently supplies the cooling fluid to the intercooler (15) by a predetermined volume (Aw), which is a value determined on the basis of a volume (C1) of a cooling fluid flow channel of the intake air downstream side core portion (151). As a result, it is possible to suppress the generation of condensation water from intake air. |
