A ferric hydroxide-based raw material containing high value elements, an application thereof, and a preparation method therefor. The preparation method comprises preparing a ferric hydroxide-based raw material containing high value elements by using iron-based wastes through processes such as batching, reaction and drying, wherein the ferric hydroxide-based raw material is in powder or easily-crushed briquette, and comprises ingredients of 3.5-45wt% of TFe, 2-32wt% of MO, 54.47wt% or more of Y(Fe3+)/TFe and 6.5wt% or less of C. The ferric hydroxide-based raw material has uniform texture, is convenient to use, does not combust spontaneously at a temperature lower than or equal to 200°C, and is safe to use. Besides, the dissolution rates of the high value elements during use are high, and the elements can be prepared into different products.
