The motor (2) has a connection housing (11) arranged on outside of a motor housing (9). The connection housing accommodates electrical connections and capacitors of an electronic speed controller i.e. frequency inverter. The connection housing is formed by an axial housing (12) and a radial housing, where a power section of the speed controller is arranged in the radial housing, and a motor control unit is arranged in the axial housing. The axial housing is attached to the motor housing in an axial direction. Interiors of the axial and the radial housings are connected to each other.
