This technique relates to a solid-state image pickup apparatus and an electronic device whereby a high-frame-rate shooting can be achieved without damaging the image quality. A floating diffusion holds the charge stored in one or more photoelectric conversion units. A plurality of amplification transistors read a signal corresponding to the charge held by the floating diffusion. The signal read by the amplification transistors is outputted to a vertical signal line. The plurality of amplification transistors are connected in parallel to the vertical signal line. This technique can be applied to, for example, a CMOS image sensor. |
