Disclosed in the present invention is a convergence system and operating method thereof. The convergence system of the present invention comprises a mobile positioning system and a video monitoring system; the operating method of the convergence system comprises: the video monitoring system sends a positioning request initiated by an internal video monitoring client to the mobile positioning system; the mobile positioning system responds to the positioning request, and returns the positioning results to the video monitoring system; and the video monitoring system forwards the positioning results to the video monitoring client; the operating method of the present invention effectively converges a mobile positioning system with a video monitoring system, such that the user device can acquire video information and geographical location information upon accessing the video monitoring system. |
