What is provided is an electric power transmission system that can properly recognize, from a coupling coefficient, a positional change between a power transmission antenna and a power receiving antenna and can efficiently transmit electric power. An electric power transmission system of the present invention is characterized by including: an inverter unit 130 that converts DC voltage to AC voltage of a predetermined frequency to output; a power transmission antenna 140 to which AC voltage is input from the inverter unit 130; a power transmission control unit 150 that controls a voltage value of DC voltage input to the inverter unit 130, and a frequency of AC voltage output by the inverter unit 130; and a power receiving antenna 210 that faces the power transmission antenna 140 and is for transmission of electric energy from the power transmission antenna 140 via electromagnetic fields, and current flowing through the inverter unit 130, wherein, based on current flowing through the inverter unit 130, a coupling coefficient between the power transmission antenna 140 and the power receiving antenna 210 is calculated. |
