A mobile terminal and a control method therefor are disclosed. According to the mobile terminal and the control method therefor in the present invention, when displaying content and receiving a scroll input, the voice of a user can be received by activating a microphone, and specific content related to a keyword included in the received voice can be searched for from an execution screen image of a specific application displayed on a display unit. According to the present invention, a voice recognition module can be automatically turned on or off by recognizing a user's intention, thereby reducing battery consumption while improving user convenience. |
