USE OF HOXB5 FOR DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT OF BREAST CANCER

The present invention relates to a composition comprising a HOXB5 gene inhibitor as an active ingredient for treating breast cancer, or to a composition for diagnosing by using the same. In the case of using the HOXB5 of the present invention as a marker for diagnosing breast cancer, the composition can be significantly used for early detection of breast cancer, effective treatment, and diagnosis, by diagnosing estrogen receptor-positive breast cancer which comprises 50-80% of the entire patient with breast cancer.
