The present invention relates to a glass type terminal and a control method thereof. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the glass type terminal comprises: a frame unit which is wearable on the head part of a user; a display unit; and a control unit which turns power of a camera on and analyzes an image photographed by the camera to produce photographing guide information, and outputs the produced photographing guide information to the display unit if a preset condition is sensed.
