The present invention relates to a mouth opening prevention device for preventing abnormal breathing during sleep, such as snoring, which comprises: a stretchable band having a chin support part at the center and earring parts at both ends; and adjustment members disposed on both ends of the earring parts to have through-holes on the inside, wherein the through-holes include a first through-hole at one side of the adjustment members and a second through-hole having greater diameter than that of the first through-hole at the other side of the adjustment members. According to the present invention, the adjustment members are arranged adjacent to both sides of the stretchable band, thereby allowing a user to adjust stretchability and hook the earring parts of the band around the ears so that the upper jaw or lower jaw of the user is pressed to prevent a phenomenon of opening the mouth during sleep. In addition, fixing members are arranged adjacent to both ends of the band to prevent impression on the face from being caused by pressing force of the band as well as minimize the pressing force occurring when the end parts of the band continuously press the ears of the user, thereby enabling the user to sleep soundly with comfort of ears. |
