PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data distribution system and a data distribution method that reduce a load on a terminal device.SOLUTION: A data distribution system includes a database device, a data distribution device, and a terminal device. The database device holds communication propriety information indicating whether communication between the data distribution device and the terminal device is permitted or not. The data distribution device establishes connection with the terminal device on the basis of a prescribed protocol in response to a request from the terminal device, and distributes data to the terminal device via the connection. If the connection is disconnected, the data distribution device obtains the communication propriety information from the database device, and when the communication propriety information indicates that communication with the terminal is permitted, the data distribution device transmits a message instructing the terminal device to reestablish connection to the terminal device according to another protocol. The terminal device receives data from the data distribution device, and requests the data distribution device to reestablish connection when the message is received. |
