PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle diagnosis machine and a vehicle diagnosis method, which enable at least one of reducing man-hour for a data collection setup and preventing an erroneous data collection setup.SOLUTION: A vehicle diagnosis machine 14 performs: identifying an item of drive parameters possessed by a mounted ECU corresponding to VIN, the item that can be output; comparing a collection item being a drive parameter item collected from a target ECU with the item that is possessed by the mounted ECU and can be output; and determining, in a case where there is a missing item that includes a drive parameter that is not collected, among the actually collected data, as opposed to items that are possessed by the mounted ECU and can be output, that there is a possibility of an abnormality occurring on the missing item. |
