PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation apparatus capable of improving reproducibility of an image.SOLUTION: A laser printer is an image formation apparatus which forms an image by exposing a photoreceptor drum based upon image data including at least one isolated pattern (designated pattern). The isolated pattern comprises a plurality of exposed pixels, and a peripheral area of the isolated pattern of the image data comprises a plurality of unexposed pixels. The image formation apparatus includes a printer controller (processor) which detects a specific area comprising at least one exposed pixel, adjoining a border between the isolated pattern and peripheral area, in the isolated pattern is detected, and sets an exposure amount for exposed pixels in the specific area and an exposure amount for exposed pixels in an area, other than the specific area, in the isolated pattern to mutually different values. |
