PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric compressor for a vehicle capable of surely and promptly discharging electric charge of a capacitor at the time of impact.SOLUTION: A electric compressor for a vehicle includes a compression section, an electric motor which rotates the compression section, and a driving circuit which drives the electric motor. The driving circuit includes capacitors C1 and C2, a circuit board 146 on which a discharge circuit for discharging electric charge accumulated in the capacitors C1 and C2 is formed, and a positive electrode wire and a negative electrode wire 12, 22 electrically connecting the capacitors C1 and C2 and the circuit board 146. The electric compressor for the vehicle further includes a conductive member 50 configured to come in contact with the positive electrode wire and the negative electrode wire 12 due to movement of the positive electrode wire and the negative electrode wire 12 connected to the capacitor C1 when external force is applied to the capacitor C1. |
