PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair dye composition with a little difference to the color tone of the hair root and end, and to provide a hair dyeing method for applying the composition to the hair.SOLUTION: The invention provides a hair dye composition containing the following azo dyes (R), (B), and (Y), with a pH (25°C) of 7.5-12 when in use, and a hair dyeing method comprising applying the hair dye composition to the hair, leaving it to stand for 1-60 minutes, and subsequently washing away. The mass ratio of the azo dye (R), (B), and (Y), [(R)+(Y)/(B)] in all the compositions is preferred to be 0.2-5, and further the hair dye composition is preferred to contain 0.01-20 mass% of an alkali agent. |
