摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce luminance unevenness.SOLUTION: A surface light emitting unit 1 includes: a plurality of surface light emitting panels 10A, 10B having light emitting surfaces 13A, 13B and reflection surfaces 14A, 14B; a transmission member 20 for striding over the light emitting surfaces 13A, 13B and coming into contact with the light emitting surfaces 13A, 13B; an optical adjustment member 30 provided on a surface 21 of a transmission member 21 or facing the surface 21 with an interval, and for transmitting or reflecting the light from the transmission member; and a diffusion member 40 provided on a surface 31 of the optical adjustment member 30 or facing the surface 31 with an interval. The light emitting surfaces 13A, 13B include light emitting regions HA, HB and non-light emitting regions NA, NB. Between the non-light emitting regions NA, NB and a rear surface 22 of the transmission member, a reflection member 50 is provided for reflecting the light propagated inside the transmission member. The optical adjustment member 30 has distribution in transmissivity, and the transmissivity has distribution which continuously changes in accordance with the luminance of the light emitted from the surface light emitting panels 10A, 10B.
