PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chassis-shaped relay device capable of increasing monitoring points based on Ethernet OAM.SOLUTION: For example, external ports P[1] of line cards LC[2] and LC[3] are set to member ports of the same LAG1. A management card MC[1] generates a first monitoring frame CFo1 when monitoring communicability between the member ports of the LAG1 and the outside of the device and transmits the generated first monitoring frame to any line card LC[2] corresponding to the LAG1. The line card LC[2] transmits the first monitoring frame CFo1 from the external port P[1] to the outside of the device. When second monitoring frames CFi1 and CFi2 from the outside of the device are received by the LAG1, the line cards LC[2] and LC[3] corresponding to the LAG1 transmit the received second monitoring frames to the management card MC[1]. |
