PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid supply unit capable of mixing liquid having a high concentration with liquid having a concentration lower than that of the liquid having the high concentration and of supplying the mixed liquid to an outside.SOLUTION: An ink cartridge 21B (liquid supply unit) comprises: an ink supply port constituent member 55 for supplying ink (liquid) to an outside; a main ink holding member 85 holding the ink; a sedimentation ink holding member 86 comprising a holding member opening portion 88; and a mixing flow passage constituent member 87 fitted to the holding member opening portion 88. The main ink holding member 85 is disposed above the ink supply port constituent member 55, and the sedimentation ink holding member 86 is disposed between the ink supply port constituent member 55 and the main ink holding member 85. Sedimentation ink having a high concentration due to sedimentation of pigment is held by the sedimentation ink holding member 86. The sedimentation ink held at a lower side portion of the main ink holding member 85 is mixed with ink having a lower concentration and is supplied to the outside when passing through the holding member opening portion 88. |
