Disclosed are an electronic cigarette and a manufacturing method thereof. The electronic cigarette of the present invention comprises: a cartridge; a vaporization unit connected detachably to one side of the cartridge to vaporize liquid nicotine; and a battery unit including a battery body having a battery for supplying power to the vaporization unit and a power connection terminal connected to the battery body to connect the battery and the vaporization unit, wherein the power connection terminal having a connection groove at one side is inserted into one side of the battery body and an area of the battery body, which corresponds to the area of the connection groove, is pressurized to make the battery body and the power connection terminal connected to each other. |
