The invention relates to a method for the acquisition of useful data concerning the state of the skin, permitting detection of tissue likely to be burned during conventional dermatological treatment using pulsed light, preferably IPL, or pulsed laser light. The invention also relates to a device comprising the means necessary for performing said method.
