PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a concrete surface layer quality evaluation method which allows easy confirmation of quality of a surface layer of concrete at the site.SOLUTION: A concrete surface layer quality evaluation method transmits an S wave from an ultrasonic transmission and reception part 2 by bringing the ultrasonic transmission and reception part 2 of an ultrasonic transmission and reception device 1 having at least two ultrasonic transmission and reception parts 2 transmitting and receiving the S wave into contact with the surface of concrete C, receives the S wave transmitted from the ultrasonic transmission and reception part 2 with the ultrasonic transmission and reception part 2, obtains a surface layer ultrasonic propagation velocity by obtaining the velocity of the S wave transmitted and received to/from the ultrasonic transmission and reception part 2, and compares it with relation between the surface layer ultrasonic propagation velocity and the surface state of the concrete C obtained in advance to evaluate quality of the surface layer of the concrete C. |
