PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid discharge head hardly generating joint defect or bubble trap by reducing the variation of a plate thickness when polishing the platy member composing a flow channel plate.SOLUTION: In a liquid discharge head, a flow channel plate 2 is composed by layering and joining plural platy members 21, 22, 23. An individual liquid chamber 6 to be an individual flow channel 5, a fluid resistance part 7, a liquid introduction part 8, and a through-hole forming a liquid chamber 18 at a filter downstream side are formed to plural platy members. In the platy member 21 joined to a nozzle plate 1, a dummy recess part 71 is formed at the side of a joint face of a through-hole forming an individual liquid chamber 6 and the nozzle plate 1 and also at the opposite side of a fluid resistance part 7 being a part of the individual flow channel 5, and a dummy recess part 72 is formed at the opposite side of the liquid introduction part 8 being also a part of the flow channel 5. Besides, in the platy member 23 joined to a diaphragm member 3, a dummy recess part 73 is formed at the side of the joint face of the through-hole forming the individual liquid chamber 6 and the diaphragm member 3 and also at the opposite side of the fluid resistance part 7 being the part of the individual flow channel 5. |
