PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio device that can achieve communication via a repeater without problems even if there are multiple repeaters using the same frequencies in uplink and downlink.SOLUTION: Packets generated at radio devices 1a, 1c include, in their header section, data on identifiers to identify a transmission destination radio device and a transmission source radio device, and identifiers to identify repeaters 3a, 3b installed in areas 2a, 2b where the radio devices 1a, 1b are situated, and in their data section, data on a voice signal that has gone through A/D conversion and coding. On receiving a radio signal having the same frequency as a downlink frequency of the repeater 3b set as a communication repeater, a controller in a radio device 1c sets the identifier of the repeater 3a as an identifier of a transmission source repeater when generating a transmission packet if the identifier of the transmission destination repeater included in a packet of the radio signal is the identifier of the repeater 3a different from the identifier of the repeater 3b. |
