PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve high light-shielding performance for a high-density holding capacitance and a TFT in an electro-optic device such as a liquid crystal device.SOLUTION: An electro-optic device includes: a pixel electrode (9a) disposed in each pixel on a substrate (10); a transistor (30) disposed between the substrate and the pixel electrode and corresponding to the pixel electrode; a first capacitance electrode (71) disposed between the pixel electrode and the transistor and electrically connected to the pixel electrode and to the transistor; a second capacitance electrode (72) disposed between the pixel electrode and the first capacitance electrode and opposing to the first capacitance electrode via a capacitive insulating film (75), to which a predetermined potential is supplied; and a light-shielding film (200) disposed to at least partially overlap the transistor between the pixel electrode and the second capacitance electrode, and electrically connected to the second capacitance electrode via a contact hole that is opened in the insulating film disposed between the second capacitance electrode and the light-shielding film. |
