A standby power reduction circuit is disclosed. The present invention can provide constant standby power regardless of the type of a main device having a switch for blocking main power and having a standby power reduction circuit installed therein and power consumption thereof, and can minimize standby power through driving while providing the standby power to only a main power switch and a command to only a sensor unit. Further, in the present invention, a standby power blocking switch, which maintains an ON state in a state in which a power storage unit has been not charged and maintains an OFF state in a state in which the power storage unit is charged, is disposed between an input power unit and a load power unit for supplying charging power to the power storage unit, so that the power storage unit can be automatically charged even when commercial power is initially supplied to an electronic device after the standby power reduction apparatus of the present invention is installed in the electronic device. Furthermore, in the present invention, a power input unit for receiving commercial power and supplying the commercial power to the standby power reduction circuit can adaptively change an internal capacitance according to a voltage level of the input commercial power to provide a constant amount of power to the standby power reduction circuit regardless of the voltage of the input commercial power so as to always constantly maintain the amount of consumed standby power. |
