ELECTROSURGICAL DEVICES WITH DIRECTIONAL RADIATION A device (100) is disclosed for directing energy to a target volume of tissue. The device includes an elongated body member (400), an antenna assembly (12), and an outer sleeve (450). The elongate body member (400) includes: a body wall (450) defining a chamber (440) therein; and an outerjacket formed of an electrically conductive material. The antenna assembly (12) is disposed in the chamber (440). The outer sleeve (450) is disposed about the elongated body member (400) and includes an aperture (440) formed therethrough, the outer sleeve (450) being configured to move relative to the antenna assembly (12) to allow energy radiated from the antenna assembly (12) to transfer into the target volume of tissue through the aperture (440) of the outer sleeve (450).
