PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently use the storage capacity of a storage medium comprised in a storage medium device when a plurality of applications are made to function in the storage medium device.SOLUTION: A storage medium device comprises: a storage medium that stores data such that it puts up application data per group of a plurality of applications functioning under one common application in the same data storage position, and stores application selection information indicating an application selected from the plurality of applications; a communication unit that communicates with an external communication device; an application switching control unit that renews the application selection information so that an application selected by the external communication device is shown; and an application execution unit that executes processing by using application data corresponding to the application indicated by the application selection information. |
