摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller for an electric vehicle that surely detects an abnormality of a motor controller while achieving reduction in cost. <P>SOLUTION: The controller for the electric vehicle is provided with a traveling control means 1 for calculating the target drive torque of an electric motor 3 for driving a vehicle 50, and a motor control means 2 that calculates final command torque generated by correcting the target drive torque inputted from the traveling control means 1 and supplies power corresponding to the final command torque to the electric motor 3.
