<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller for an electric vehicle that surely detects an abnormality of a motor controller while achieving reduction in cost. <P>SOLUTION: The controller for the electric vehicle is provided with a traveling control means 1 for calculating the target drive torque of an electric motor 3 for driving a vehicle 50, and a motor control means 2 that calculates final command torque generated by correcting the target drive torque inputted from the traveling control means 1 and supplies power corresponding to the final command torque to the electric motor 3. The traveling control means 1 has a target drive torque calculating means 21 for calculating the target drive torque of the electric motor 3, a final command torque calculating means 23 for calculating final command torque on the basis of the target drive torque, and an abnormality determining means 24 that determines an abnormality of the motor control means 2 on the basis of the comparison result of two values of the final command torque. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
