PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that the amount of camera shake can not be accurately predicted in an exposure period.

SOLUTION: The camera shake preventing device includes: a shutter for imaging; a first camera shake detection circuit which detects a first camera shake amount that is the amount of camera shake in a first period after half depressing; a second camera shake detection circuit which detects a second camera shake amount that is the amount of camera shake in a second period after fully depressing; and a camera shake prediction circuit which predicts a third camera shake amount that is the amount of camera shake in the exposure period on the basis of the first camera shake amount and the second camera shake amount, so as to determine the speed of the shutter.
