PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reel unit for facilitating attachment/detachment of only rotary reels and securely mounting the rotary reels. SOLUTION: Supporting frames 53 with fixed driving devices 70 are attached to a main body frame 50 so as to be slid forward and backward, the rotary reels 60 are each formed so as to be wholly moved forward to a position at which it is exposed from a front opening of the main body frame 50, a shaft-fixing portion 63 of the rotary reel 60 is provided with shaft-fixing means, and a driving shaft 71 is provided with shaft-engaging means engageable with the shaft fixing means. The shaft-fixing means and the shaft-engaging means restrict at least the positional movement of the rotary reel 60 relative to a driving shaft 71 in a rotating direction, and one of the supporting frames 53, which is moved forward to the maximum extent from the main body frame 50, is adapted so as to attach/detach the rotary reel 60.
