<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a component mounting machine which can refill components easily without stopping the mounting operation, and to provide a component feeding method of the component mounting device. <P>SOLUTION: The component mounting machine includes a substrate conveyance way 4 for positioning a substrate 3 at a predetermined position on a base mount, a transfer head for picking up a supplied component and transferring the component onto the substrate 3 positioned by the substrate conveyance way 4, and a plurality of pallets 40 inserted into the base mount to feed the mounted components into the movable region R of the transfer head.
