<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a dimple pattern and to optimize dimple disposition and distribution on a golf ball by using an electromagnetic field theory. <P>SOLUTION: In this golf ball having a plurality of dimples on the surface thereof, the whole dimples are distributed at least on a part of the golf ball based upon a Soddy circle. The part of the golf ball is triangulated, and the Soddy circle can be generated based upon the vertices of each triangle. Then, the dimples can be arranged on the basis of the generated Soddy circles.
