PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable capacity element and a semiconductor integrated circuit equipped with it, which improve capacity variable width (capacity ratio) even when an oscillating circuit such as VCXO, etc. are miniaturized at first, and secondarily a variable capacity element and a semiconductor integrated circuit equipped with it which can change a shape of a C-V curve according to the use. SOLUTION: The variable capacity element has a first node which supplies a first voltage potential, a second node which supplies a second voltage potential, a varicap (variable capacitance) diode which is connected with the first node and the second node, and a capacity element which is connected with the varicap diode in parallel through a switching element.
