<p>The device (14) has network controllers (16-18) and processors (21, 22) processing safety-oriented signals. The processors pass the processed safety-oriented signals as a digital control signal (34) to outputs (23, 25) of the device for transmission to an actuator (35). The processors are attached to the network controllers in a biunique manner. Electronic switches (19, 20) are provided for switching of the processors. The biunique attachment of the network controllers to the processors are changed depending on preset parameters. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for safety-oriented controlling of actuators (2) a computer program comprising a program code medium to execute a method for safety-oriented controlling of actuators.</p> |
