PURPOSE: An arc prevention device of a hair dryer is provided, which can reduce unit cost and can prevent arc from being generated in contact or release of a power contact unit. CONSTITUTION: An arc prevention device of a hair dryer comprises a stopper(102) which is formed in one side of an arm connector of the main body and comes in and out by a first elastomer; a rod(130) which is inserted into the pivot axis installed in the location corresponding to the stopper and rotate at the fixed radius along the second elastomer and guide groove; an arm connector housing which is connected to a protrusion installed at one end of the rod and stopper and is elastically widened and restored; and a rod rotating at the fixed radius by descent of the on/off switch. |
