<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow efficient viewing of broadcast content in a time shorter than a total recording time, by achieving reproduction of broadcast content preferred by a user at the reproduction rate suitable for the user. <P>SOLUTION: A recording/playback system 100 includes an input part 200, a playback part 300, a receiving part 400, and a storing part 500. The receiving part 400 receives a digital broadcast and stores the received broadcast content in the storing part 500. The input part 200 transfers a viewing condition input by a user to the playback part 300.
