PURPOSE: A fire resistant construction system for a modular building, and a construction method thereof are provided to improve the fire resistance efficiency of a modular beam used for a modular building. CONSTITUTION: A fire resistant construction system for a modular building comprises a fire resistant modular unit(100). The fire resistant modular unit is composed of column members(140), modular beams(110), support channels(120), and fire resistant boards(130). The modular beams are connected to the column members in a horizontal direction. The support channels are fixed to the edge part of the modular beams. The fire resistant boards are fixed to the support channels, and arranged in the edge of the modular beams.
