The ski has a ski body (2) with a shovel region (3) forming a front end (2.1) of the ski body, and a rearward ski body section (4) forming a rearward end (2.2) of the ski body. Maximum breadth (b1) of the ski body in the shovel region is larger than maximum breadth of the ski body at the rearward ski body section. Maximum breadth (b2) of the rearward ski body section is larger than smallest breadth (b3) of the ski body in the tail ski body section. Difference between the maximum breadth in the shovel region and the maximum breadth of the rearward ski body section amounts to 25 to 31 units.
