PURPOSE: A fuel injection system is provided to improve corrosion and abrasion resistances by coating the injector valve needle with diamond-like carbon and the valve seat with modula tungsten carbide carbon. CONSTITUTION: A fuel injection system comprises an injector valve needle and a valve seat. The injector valve needle contacts the valve seat. The injector valve needle is coated with diamond-like carbon. The valve seat is coated with modula tungsten carbide carbon. The coating thickness of diamond-like carbon and modula tungsten carbide carbon is 1.0~2.0μm.
