PURPOSE: A backlight assembly covering a drive circuit unit to a reflective sheet and a display device having the same are provided to omit a side mold by covering a driving circuit unit to a cover sheet unit of a reflective sheet. CONSTITUTION: A light source unit comprises a luminescent substrate, a plurality of LED(Light Emitting Device) and a drive circuit unit. A reflective sheet comprises a central sheet unit(510) and a cover sheet unit(522). The center sheet unit is attached on the luminescent substrate with a plurality of radiation grooves. The cover sheet is arranged on the luminescent substrate, a cover, and a cover sheet to a sidewall in a carrying box.
