PURPOSE: A device and a method for user interface are provided to efficiently control a control operation to be executed between a source device and a target device by a user input. CONSTITUTION: A touch screen(110) receives a selection to indicate a source device among multiple icons by a user. The touch screen receives a selection to indicate a target device among multiple icons by a user. The touch screen is inputted a control operation from a user. A controller(120) performs the control operation between the source device and the target device.
