A turbocharger in which, by the use of a simple structure, turbulence of fluid at the exit of a turbine impeller is reduced to increase efficiency of a turbine. The turbocharger has an exhaust nozzle (9) located outside the turbine impeller (4) rotatably supported by a bearing housing (3), and also has a turbine housing (1) having a scroll path (8) located outside the exhaust nozzle (9). The exhaust nozzle (9) has nozzle vanes (15) arranged between a front exhaust introduction wall (10) on the bearing housing (3) side and a rear exhaust introduction wall (11) on the turbine housing (1) side. Vane shafts (16) of the nozzle vanes (15) penetrate at least the front exhaust introduction wall (10) and are ratotably supported by the front exhaust introduction wall (10). Pressing means (23) is provided between the bearing housing (3) and the vane shafts (16). The pressing means (23) presses the vane shafts (16) to the rear exhaust introduction wall (11) side to move the nozzle vanes (15) toward the rear exhaust introduction wall (11).
