A driving apparatus for gauge board of heavy equipment is provided to automatically drive the gauge board based on the incidence direction of sunlight so as to view of the driver toward the gauge board. A driving apparatus for gauge board of heavy equipment an housing(20), an inner housing(30) which is placed and supported inside the outer housing and at least one side of which forms a gauge board(10), a vertical driving unit(40) which is partly combined in the outer housing to drive the outer housing in the vertical direction, a horizontal driving unit(50) which is partly combined in the inner housing to drive the inner housing independently in the horizontal direction, and a controller which selectively controls the operation of the horizontal and the vertical driving unit base on the angle of incident sunlight to the gauge board. |
