CELL SEARCH METHOD, MOBILE STATION, AND BASE STATION

A cell search method executed by a mobile station which performs communication by the OFDM method includes: a first step which detects a timing of a primary synchronous channel and a carrier frequency from the correlation detection between the primary synchronous channel sequence and the reception signal; a second step which acquires a secondary synchronous channel timing and a carrier frequency from the timing of the primary synchronous channel and the carrier frequency and detects the frame timing and the cell unique control information including the cell ID group; and a third step which performs correlation with the common pilot channel for the respective cell IDs in the cell ID group and detects the cell ID from the cell ID group.
